About Liniker
Liniker rose to prominence in 2015 with the EP Cru, released online under the name Liniker e os Caramelows. She followed with Remonta (2016) and Goela Abaixo (2019). Goela Abaixo earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Rock or Alternative Music Album in Portuguese.
In 2021, Liniker starred as Cassandra in Amazon Prime Video’s Manhãs de Setembro. Her performance earned her “game-changer” recognition from Glamour magazine. That same year, she released her first solo album, Indigo Borboleta Anil, featuring Milton Nascimento and several major Brazilian artists. The album received three Latin Grammy nominations in 2022 and won Best Portuguese Language Popular Music Album, making Liniker the first transgender artist to win a Latin Grammy.

Her success continued in 2025 with three more Latin Grammy wins. These included Best Portuguese Language Song (“Veludo Marrom”), Best Portuguese-Language Urban Performance, and Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album for CAJU.
Liniker is also known for her powerful live presence. She is one of the few Brazilian artists to perform at NPR Tiny Desk, COLORS Studio, Glastonbury, Roskilde, and Rock in Rio.
She recently released her album CAJU, co-produced with Fejuca and Gustavo Ruiz. Her album is blend of pop, samba, jazz, house, pagode, disco, and reggae. It features collaborations with Lulu Santos, BaianaSystem, ANAVITÓRIA, Pabllo Vittar, and others.
CAJU made an immediate impact. It surpassed 200 million streams in ten days, with 6 million in the first 24 hours. The album debuted at No. 6 on Spotify’s Global Top Album Debut chart. Thirteen of its fourteen tracks entered Apple Music Brazil’s Top 100, and both the album and title track reached No. 1 on iTunes Brazil.
