The Beach Boys Postpone 2026 Summer Tour Dates: The Beach Boys have changed their summer tour schedule. The band has postponed or canceled nearly 30 concerts so lead singer Mike Love can take a short break and rest.

North American tour dates from July 23 to September 3 have been moved to the fall. The tour is now expected to start again on September 24 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

One of the postponed shows was planned for August 13 at Grossinger Motors Arena. That concert will now take place on October 9. Fans who already have tickets can use the same tickets for the new date. More dates may be added.

Mike Love, who is 85 years old, shared the news on Instagram on July 22. He said performing for fans is one of the best parts of the year. He also said the band has been having a great time on tour, but they are taking a short break to recharge before returning in September.

Mike Love is the only original member still touring with The Beach Boys. Earlier this year, Bruce Johnston retired from touring. Another founding member, Al Jardine, now performs with his own group, Al Jardine & the Pet Sounds Band. Mike Love’s son, Christian Love, and actor John Stamos also help during some shows by talking with the crowd and introducing songs.

Out of the 29 affected concerts, only seven have been given new dates so far. The band has not said if the other canceled shows will be rescheduled later.
