Billy Strings Announces 2026 Winter Tour

Billy Strings Announces 2026 Winter Tour: Billy Strings has shared his first tour dates of 2026. He will play a winter tour with nine shows in the Southeast. The tour will visit three cities. It includes his first show in Athens, Georgia in three years and his regular shows in Asheville, North Carolina and Nashville, Tennessee.

The tour will start in Athens with two shows on Friday, February 6th and Saturday, February 7th. Last time he played there was in March 2023 at the George Theatre. This time, Billy and his band — Billy Failing on banjo, Royal Masat on bass, Jarrod Walker on mandolin, and Alex Hargreaves on fiddle — will perform at the new Akins Ford Arena. This arena can hold 7,000 people for concerts.

Next, Billy will go to Asheville for four shows at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. These shows will be on Tuesday, February 10th, Wednesday, February 11th, Friday, February 13th, and Saturday, February 14th. Billy has made Asheville visits a yearly tradition, and last year his concerts brought many tourists and helped the city’s economy after Hurricane Helene.

The tour will end in Nashville with three shows. On Friday, February 20th, and Saturday, February 21st, Billy will play at the Bridgestone Arena, which can hold 20,000 fans. On Sunday, February 22nd, he will play a smaller, special show at the Ryman Auditorium. To get a Ryman ticket, fans must also buy a ticket for a Bridgestone show.

In past years, Billy’s Sunday Ryman shows had special themes like MTV Unplugged or bluegrass spirituals. Tickets for this tour will have a pre-sale starting on Wednesday, September 17th at 10 a.m.. The general sale will begin on Friday, September 19th at 10 a.m. on his website and Ticketmaster.
