Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will be joined on the Rush 2026 tour by Anika Nilles, the former drummer for Jeff Beck who has also released four solo albums. Lee discovered her in 2023 and called her performance “terrific.”

In a tour statement, Lee said he is very excited to introduce Anika to the band’s loyal Rush fans, who he expects will give her every chance to shine in this important role. The band also plans to add more musicians, especially a keyboard player, to expand their sound and give Alex and Geddy more freedom to perform some fun stage moves.

Each concert will have a two-set “evening with…” format, featuring a unique selection of songs from a catalogue of 35 hits, including their greatest hits and fan favorites. Fans can join the Rush artist ticket pre-sale by signing up before Thursday, October 9, 11:59 PM ET.
