Sound City 2026 announces first wave of artists: Sound City Festival has announced the first group of artists for 2026. The festival will take place in Liverpool during the May Bank Holiday weekend. It will run from Saturday, May 2 to Sunday, May 3, 2026. Sound City is a multi-venue festival in the city centre. It focuses on discovering new music talent.
The first lineup includes Westside Cowboy. It also includes Brooke Combe. Teenage Joans will make a rare UK appearance. Other performers announced are Jalen Ngonda, Keo, Cherryholt, and Blossom Caldarone. The headliners will be Jalen Ngonda and Keo.
Managing Director Becky Ayres said the lineup features rising stars and genre-bending artists. She said the festival will highlight the next generation of major music talent. The festival has also opened its “Apply to Play” system for 2026. This allows new artists to apply to perform at the festival.
