The Live Nation produced this tour. The tour is titled “Dancing Words Tour — The Greatest Hits.” It will begin on July 10 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The opening show will take place at Acrisure Amphitheater.
The tour will visit both amphitheaters and theaters. Stops include Northwell at Jones Beach Theater near New York City and the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. The tour will end on August 12, 2026 at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
Fans can expect to hear many classic John Mellencamp songs. These include “Pink Houses,” “Jack and Diane,” “Small Town,” “Hurts So Good,” and “Authority Song.” He will also perform “Key West Intermezzo (I Saw You First).” The setlist will also feature songs not played live in many years. These include “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A.,” “I Need a Lover,” “Wild Nights,” and “Ain’t Even Done With the Night.”
A Citi presale will begin on January 20 at 10 a.m. local time. It will run until January 22 at 10 p.m. local time. The general on-sale will start on January 23 at 10 a.m. local time.
