Sabaton Releases ‘The Duelist’ Lyric Video

Alongside the tour announcement, Sabaton shared a new lyric video for “The Duelist.” Band dedicated the release to Miyamoto Musashi, the legendary Japanese samurai and sword master who died on this date in 1645.

Musashi’s story and legacy have long made him a fascinating historical figure, and the new video adds another visual element to Sabaton’s history-focused approach to heavy metal.

A Big 2027 for Sabaton

The Swedish arena run is only part of a busy schedule for the band. Sabaton recently announced the second part of its Legendary Tour, which will bring the group to venues across Europe beginning in spring 2027.

This year band also has several festival appearances planned for 2026 and 2027, including Nova Rock Festival and Rockstadt Extreme Fest. There was also a setback earlier in 2026 when bassist Pär Sundström suffered an arm injury, forcing Sabaton to reschedule its North American shows.

Despite that disruption, the band has continued to build a packed schedule leading into 2027.

What to Expect From The Grand Swedish Arena Tour

The 2027 Swedish run is shaping up to be an extensive home-country tour for Sabaton. Rather than concentrating on a handful of Sweden’s biggest cities, the band will visit 21 locations, giving fans across the country an opportunity to see the group live.

With P. Hulkoff joining the tour and the band’s wider European plans already taking shape, Sabaton’s 2027 schedule is set to be one of its busiest periods yet.
