Goo Goo Dolls Cancel 2026 Canadian Tour: The rock band Goo Goo Dolls have cancelled a concert in Laval this week. They also cancelled the rest of their Canada tour because of illness. Singer John Rzeznik is 60 years old, and he has pneumonia. He has not fully recovered yet, the band said on social media.
The band was going to perform at Place Bell in Laval on Wednesday. They said they are very disappointed and hope to come back to Canada soon. They also said fans can return their tickets to get a refund.
The band was also going to play in Ottawa on Monday. They had more shows planned in Halifax and Moncton later in the week.
Goo Goo Dolls became popular in the late 1990s. They are known for songs like “Iris” and “Name.” They performed in London, Ontario on Saturday. Before that, they had cancelled shows in Sault Ste. Marie, Oshawa, and Hamilton because John Rzeznik was sick.
