The new album will be released on July 24. It will be released through Polyvinyl. The lead single from the album is “Criminal Kissing.” The single has already been released.
Ian Sweet also announced her 2026 North American tour. Jilian Medford wrote the songs while living in New York City. She recorded the album at Maze Studios in Atlanta. She worked with producer Ben H. Allen. Drummer Harold Brown also worked on the album. Engineer Ben Etter also joined the project.
Ian Sweet tour will continue in October. It will include shows in New Hampshire and Vermont. Ian Sweet will then go to Canada. They will perform in Montreal and Toronto. After that, the tour will move through the Midwest. It will include stops in Grand Rapids, Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and Eau Claire.
Then, the tour will head south. They will perform in Nashville and Durham. The tour will end on the West Coast in November. Final shows will be in Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco on November 6.
