It will be released on August 28, 2026, through Jagjaguwar. Along with the album announcement, band also revealed a new 2026 fall US tour. The Dinosaur Jr. Tour 2026 will begin on October 9, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The band will perform across the United States with some major stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Austin, and New Orleans.
Before the fall headline tour, Dinosaur Jr. will complete a summer co-headlining tour with Band of Horses, running through August 1. After that, the band returns with support from Stef Chura on every fall headline show.
This tour is announced in the support of the band’s new album There Near. Their first studio album Sweep It Into Space was released in 2021. The album was recorded at Bisquiteen Studio in Amherst, Massachusetts, by longtime members J Mascis, Lou Barlow, and Murph.
