Who are Def Leppard?
Def Leppard is a hard rock band from Sheffield, England. The band started in 1977. Since 1992, the members are Joe Elliott (singer), Vivian Campbell (guitar), Phil Collen (guitar), Rick Savage (bass), and Rick Allen (drums).
They have made 12 albums and sold over 100 million records. Some of their famous songs are “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” and “Love Bites”. Two of their albums, Pyromania (1983) and Hysteria (1987), sold over 10 million copies each.
The album Hysteria sold more than 20 million copies worldwide. In the 1980s, they were a big part of hair metal music. They still make music and had a Top 10 album in 2022 called Diamond Star Halos. In 2019, they were added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
