Tame Impala Release New Single ‘Dracula’
Tame Impala has shared a new song from their upcoming album Deadbeat. The track is called “Dracula”. Kevin Parker, the band’s lead, talked about it in an interview with Zane Lowe, explaining how the song changed over time. He said “Dracula” is one of the defining moments of the new album.
Tame Impala announced that Deadbeat will be released on October 17, 2025, via Columbia Records. This is the band’s first album with the Columbia label. “End of Summer” was Tame Impala’s first new music since their 2020 album The Slow Rush.
It was also the band’s first recording for Columbia Records. While “Loser” had funky psych-pop, “End of Summer” goes into deeper dance music, inspired by acid house from the late ’80s and early ’90s. It has been five years since The Slow Rush won five ARIA Awards and got multiple Grammy nominations.
