Black Sabbath will headline Back to the Beginning at Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham, on July 5, 2025. Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne have announced that their first live performance in eight years and seven years, respectively, will be their final gig. It will also be the first time since the 2005 Ozzfest tour that Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward have performed live together. Tom Morello directs the concert.
The concert benefits Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorns Children’s Hospice. This is the first time in 20 years that the original lineup of the band has performed together. In addition to Black Sabbath, metal greats such as Metallica, Pantera and Gojira will also perform during the Back to the Beginning concert in 2025.
