These concerts will happen in May and June 2026 across the UK and Europe. They will play 14 shows. For 10 concerts, the opening bands will be Gojira and Knocked Loose. For the other 4 shows, the openers will be Pantera and Avatar. Tickets of the concerts will go on sale on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. local time.
Like before, the shows will have a special round stage in the middle with a “Snake Pit” area for fans, so people can watch the band from all sides. Metallica will also do their “No Repeat Weekend” concerts in Frankfurt, Budapest, Dublin, and London, where they play different songs each night.
The band is also returning to places they haven’t played in a long time, like Athens (since 2010), Chorzów (since 2008), and Cardiff (since 1996). Metallica said they are excited to play with Pantera again, reunite with Gojira, and welcome Knocked Loose and Avatar to the tour. About Metallica Band
Metallica is an American heavy metal band. James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich formed the band in Los Angeles in 1981. Later, the band moved to San Francisco, where it has stayed for most of its career. Metallica became famous for fast tempos, powerful instrumentals, and aggressive playing. They are one of the “big four” thrash metal bands, along with Megadeth, Anthrax, and Slayer.
