Philip Glass has many special events planned for his 90th birthday celebration. The show Tao of Glass will debut in London’s West End from July 25 to September 12, 2026. The Juniper Tree will premiere in Chicago in May 2027 at Chicago Opera Theater.

A new dance by Lucinda Childs will premiere in January 2027 at New York City Center. On his birthday concerts will happen in two places named New York at Carnegie Hall with Orchestra of St. Luke’s & London at Southbank Centre.
