Stray Cats Tour Dates 2026 – Cities & Venues: The Stray Cats were planning to tour the United States in fall 2025. However, the band had to cancel the tour because frontman Brian Setzer was dealing with a serious illness. Now, Setzer has shared that he is healthy again. The band has also announced a new U.S. summer tour for 2026.

Why Did Stray Cats Cancel Their Fall 2025 Tour?
No specific reason was given for Brian Setzer’s recent health problems. Earlier in 2025, he said that an autoimmune disease was affecting his ability to play guitar. Setzer explained that his hands started cramping near the end of the last Stray Cats tour. He later learned that he had an autoimmune disease.
He said that there was no pain, but his hands felt like they were wearing gloves when he tried to play guitar. Setzer also shared that he started to see some improvement over time. He said he was able to hold a pen and tie his shoes again, which he could not do earlier.
He also mentioned that he was receiving treatment at the Mayo Clinic, which he described as one of the best hospitals in the world. Setzer said he believes he will recover, but it will take time.
Late last year, The Stray Cats released two new songs, “Stampede” and “Teenage Heaven.” These songs were their first new music since 2019. The songs were released to mark the start of their fall tour, which was later canceled.
