He also released a new song called “Hold On To The Light” with Hermanos Gutiérrez. The song is part of a new documentary movie about Jack’s life as a surfer, filmmaker, and musician. The movie will come out next year and will feature famous surfers like Kelly Slater and Rob Machado.
Jack worked on the movie’s soundtrack with Hermanos Gutiérrez and producer Mario Caldato Jr., who helped make some of Jack’s old albums.
Hermanos Gutiérrez, Lake Street Dive, and G. Love will join Jack on the tour. The concerts will take place in many big outdoor places, like the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and the Greek Theatre in Berkeley.
Jack cares a lot about the environment. His tour will help raise money for green projects, like reducing plastic use and protecting nature. Part of the ticket money will go to charity in every city. Fans can sign up for presale tickets on November 9, with tickets going on sale to everyone on November 14. Citi card members can buy tickets early through a special presale.
