The Space Lady Announces 2026 Australian Tour: Music icon The Space Lady has announced a return to Australia in 2026. The Space Lady is the stage name of Susan Dietrich. She became known as a street musician in Boston during the 1980s and 1990s. She was famous for her unique performances using an accordion and wearing a winged helmet.
After her accordion was stolen, she began using a Casio keyboard. This led to her signature synth pop space music sound. Her most well-known song is “Synthesize Me.” The Space Lady sold out shows across Australia in 2024. Now, she is coming back for another tour in January 2026.
The tour will begin on January 8, 2026, at Cave Inn in Brisbane. She will then perform at:
-
January 9, 2026 — Petersham Bowling Club — Sydney
-
January 10, 2026 — Brunswick Bandroom — Melbourne
-
January 16, 2026 — Arthur Art Bar — Adelaide
-
January 17, 2026 — Buffalo Club — Perth
Tickets for all shows are on sale now. Fans can buy tickets at roadrunner-tours.com. For more updates on tour dates, tour setlist, venues, cities, and tour schedule will be shared as new details are announced.
