Emerson Lake and Palmer 2026 Tour: An Evening with ELP is a special live show with famous drummer Carl Palmer. With modern technology, Carl will perform on stage while his two bandmates, Keith Emerson and Greg Lake, appear on big video screens. The video shows them playing at the 1992 Royal Albert Hall concert. This makes it feel like the band ELP is together again, even though Keith and Greg passed away in 2016. Fans will hear the classic music of Emerson, Lake & Palmer live at The Bankhead.

Who are Emerson Lake and Palmer?
Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) mixed classical music, jazz, and rock to make special songs. They sometimes played music by Mussorgsky, Copland, and Bach in their own style. Keith Emerson made the keyboard very important in rock music. He used the Moog synthesizer and Hammond organ in exciting ways.
The band created big songs called epic tracks. Some songs, like “Tarkus” and “Karn Evil 9,” were very long, even more than 20 minutes. Their live shows were amazing. They used bright lights, powerful sound, and even real cannon fire at the Isle of Wight Festival. Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) were a groundbreaking English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970. The trio consisted of:
- Keith Emerson (keyboards) – formerly of The Nice
- Greg Lake (vocals, bass, guitars) – formerly of King Crimson
- Carl Palmer (drums, percussion) – formerly of Atomic Rooster
