Morrissey Cancelled 2026 Tour 20 Percent Shows: Morrissey Cancels St. Louis Show Amid Ongoing 2026 Tour Disruptions. Morrissey has cancelled his concert in St. Louis, Missouri, scheduled for January 15, 2026. The show was set to take place at The Factory as part of his North American tour.
Just hours before doors were due to open, ticket holders were informed that the concert would not go ahead. A spokesperson for the venue confirmed the cancellation. “Due to an artist illness, the Morrissey concert is cancelled,” the statement read.
“All tickets will be automatically refunded at the point of purchase.” Ticketmaster has also confirmed the event cancellation. This is not the first disruption on Morrissey’s 2026 tour. Earlier this month, he cancelled his first two shows of the year in California. Those concerts were scheduled for Rancho Mirage and San Diego.
In a message shared on Morrissey-Solo, the Rancho Mirage cancellation was explained. The statement said the show was postponed due to an adverse reaction to prescription medication. Despite the early setbacks, Morrissey returned to the stage on January 10 in San Antonio, Texas. During that show, he performed The Smiths’ “Paint A Vulgar Picture” live for the first time in 29 years.
He followed up with another show on January 13 in Oklahoma City. At that concert, Morrissey debuted his new single “Make Up Is A Lie” live for the first time. The song is the title track from his upcoming album.
Morrissey is scheduled to return to the stage on January 17 in Atlanta. Additional U.S. shows are planned in St. Petersburg and Hollywood later this month. Next month, Morrissey will head back to Europe for a headline tour. The run includes one UK date at London’s O2 Arena on February 28.
His new album, Make-Up Is A Lie, is set for release on March 6, 2026. While announcing the album, Morrissey told fans he hopes the record is worth their attention.
